About XL

About XL Marketing Services

XL Marketing Services is a strategic marketing and growth consultancy helping founders, CEOs, CMOs and marketing leaders improve the evidence, choices and systems behind commercial action.

We work across brand positioning, go-to-market and product marketing, B2B growth and account-based marketing, marketing-sales alignment, AI search visibility, and fractional CMO advisory. Our role is to help organisations decide what deserves attention, translate that decision into coherent execution and learn from the market without losing strategic consistency.

Core promise

Better marketing decisions that create credible positioning, customer value and sustainable commercial progress.

Decisions That Compound.

XL Marketing Services is a strategic marketing and growth consultancy based in Dubai. We work with founders, CEOs, CMOs and marketing leaders in technology, lifestyle and luxury, and health, wellness and biohacking, across the UAE, South Africa and the wider MEA region. Every engagement begins with the business decision that needs resolving — positioning, go-to-market, B2B growth, marketing and sales alignment, AI search visibility or senior marketing leadership — so the work that follows is built on evidence rather than activity.

Marketing can be busy while the decision remains unresolved

A new campaign, technology platform or content format can create activity without resolving the question underneath it. The audience may be unclear. The proposition may not be credible. Marketing and sales may be working from different definitions of value.

XL helps leadership teams locate the decision that is shaping the outcome, examine the evidence and assumptions around it, and design the next appropriate action — keeping marketing connected to customer value and commercial priorities while making operational and customer-experience dependencies visible.

Decisions are only as good as the evidence behind them

The quality of marketing decisions cannot consistently exceed the quality of the information, questions and assumptions from which they are made.

Marketing should help organisations understand markets and people more accurately, make credible choices, communicate value clearly and create conditions in which customers can decide with confidence. It should also respect customer agency — behavioural science can reduce unnecessary friction and improve comprehension; it should not disguise manipulation as optimisation.

The questions behind every engagement

  • What position can the brand credibly own, and how should that position be expressed consistently?
  • Which market, customer or organisational evidence should shape the next go-to-market decision?
  • What is activating demand, and which buying situations or category entry points matter?
  • Which accounts, buying committees and executive conversations warrant focused investment?
  • Where are marketing and sales losing context, accountability or commercial learning?
  • How can the organisation become easier to understand and cite across search engines and generative AI systems?
  • What should leadership keep constant, what should adapt and what should not be funded yet?

Marketing Decision-Led Growth

Our approach connects four recurring disciplines. It is an adaptive operating cycle rather than a rigid sequence imposed on every engagement.

  • Understand: clarify the market, customer, organisational conditions and quality of available evidence.
  • Decide: identify the choice that matters, the trade-offs involved and what evidence is sufficient to proceed.
  • Design: translate the decision into positioning, systems, experiences, communications or coordinated activity.
  • Learn: examine market response, commercial movement, customer experience and new evidence to improve the next decision.

The XL Crosspoint supports the initial diagnostic conversation by locating where evidence, decisions, execution and learning intersect — or where they have become disconnected. The diagnostic guides judgement; it does not replace it.

Pattern recognition, applied with local care

XL brings experience across telecommunications, fintech, enterprise technology, infrastructure, luxury travel and services, and emerging technology. This range helps us recognise patterns across categories while remaining careful about differences in customers, buying committees, regulation, adoption and delivery.

We support organisations operating across the UAE and South Africa. Cross-border work begins with market evidence and local context, not the assumption that one execution can be exported unchanged.

Led by judgement, backed by network

Market distinction is driven by executive judgement and verifiable local access. XL is led by an executive tier whose collective careers bridge marketing strategy and business development without organisational fragmentation:

Pearl M, Chief Marketing Officer and Strategic Marketing Lead at XL Marketing Services
Pearl M
Chief Marketing Officer and Strategic Marketing Lead

Pearl brings more than 25 years of marketing leadership across telecommunications, fintech, enterprise ICT, infrastructure, luxury services and emerging technology. Her experience includes product marketing and adoption work associated with M-Pesa and PayU, enterprise marketing for Dimension Data/NTT DATA and Vodacom Business, and the development of market-intelligence, positioning and behavioural-communication approaches.

In Vodacom Business Africa, marketing-generated pipeline contributed to a reported 30% year-on-year increase in gross profit. This is presented as contribution evidence, not as a claim that marketing acted independently of sales, operations or market conditions.

At XL, Pearl leads the strategic architecture: defining the market opportunity, clarifying the proposition, understanding the customer decision and creating the marketing system required to build demand.

Tameka Hendrikz, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at XL Marketing Services
Tameka Hendrikz
Head of Business Development and Partnerships

Tameka brings business-development, partnership and account-engagement capability. Her work includes helping build Xplora Luxe's partner network from zero to more than 100 partners and contributing to its placement among the top 33 from approximately 500 entries to Eureka GCC's 12-week investor-pitch and business-management incubator.

Within XL, she strengthens account selection, executive engagement, partnerships and commercial follow-through — assessing marketing from the receiving end of the pipeline: whether the audience is properly qualified, whether the proposition supports a commercial conversation and whether follow-up can convert interest into opportunity.

A partner for consequential marketing decisions

XL works with leaders who need stronger thinking before more activity: founders establishing a credible market position; CEOs weighing growth priorities; CMOs seeking an experienced strategic partner; and marketing leaders who need specialist capability without the layers of a large agency network.

We do not promise that marketing alone will determine revenue. We help organisations improve the marketing decisions, evidence and systems that contribute to customer value and sustainable commercial progress — and make the dependencies on sales, operations, delivery and customer experience explicit.
